Again raging 'pon his land of Velitan, the mighty stag Bien returned from the breeding lands. beautiful. the sweet scent of heat rose into his nostriles even in the slightly chilled air. his doe filled with his spawn the stag felt content of himself as his battered hide forced through brambles and twigs. a smirk made it's way across his maw and the stag sighed happily almost. 'twas a wonderful feeling. now his heir would grow and develop inside Fade's stomach, finally reaching the point of pain and induring of labor.
Prancing among the short folliage, the stallion whinned shrilly to his fem, wondering how far behind she had been lost. a brief moment of panic passed through his mind, for they had just returned from breeding and the fae had gotten behind. one never knew what was stil out there..
Cantering up a hill the stag reached another sigh as he saw his queen pushing through the same brush, emerging into the land as well as he. relaxation. it was finally time to stay here and enjoy the fruits of lordship. yet word was Fade wanted another fae for her liking and teasing. thus it might be a good thing to have another member, so the stallion decided he may have to leave her again..but only for a while. reaching the mare the stallion held his crainia out to her and nickered softly, his banner held high and flowing in the calm breeze. he felt relaxed and at ease finally fufilling his duty. now there was only time. time to wait for the son to be born.
{yuck,..not my best but it had to be done ;D} [/color]

after many long days of wandering the lands of Equusoul alone, fade had finally returned to her homeland. tendrils hang loose over mournful twin pools. despite her constant attention to her own bod, things were getting rough on the mare. the ess' once petite torso was growing larger with each passing sun. fade had never before given birth to a miracle of her own. now she would be in charge of a little part of the future. her future. the changing face of Equusoul, would be in part, her fault. many moons, fade had found herself wondering what sex the little devil would be. a strong bruthen, dark in the light of the sun like it's father? or more recessive, a contribution to the next generation of evils? either way, as long as it was healthy and respected it's elders, would be absolutley perfect for the maiden.
no matter what I am dark or light sire or dam my love for thee will ever remain true that is my promise to you
shanks carried the doe across the dew-ladden meadow, harks ever searching for the sounds of her one and only. bien. even in her mind, did the syllables make her quake in envy and content. he was her's. nothing could change that, nothing. neither mother nature, nor the elements of the equine could tear them apart, now that the she was carrying his heir. she knew that, and would use it to her advantage. for if he harmed the czaress, his babe would be the one hurt. whipcord flashed across her length, the bloodsucker's at last coming out for summertime. t'was the sun that gave to all life, and unfortunately this included the pesks that dare sneak life from her ever-moving veins. bastards! off me now! fade watched as a swarm of them retreated, seemingly in an endless battle against time, for they were in the process of breeding in the early heat. sweat formed round her joints, the effort of finding her mate becoming tiresome. where be ye bruthen? eventually, her pistons could no longer hold her, and she sank to the earth exhausted. inwardly fade knew bein would come and find her, it was just a matter of time. eyelids fluttered closed, the intense summer sun lulling the ess into a deep sleep, much needed indeed. for soon such luxuries would be impossible, the foal was coming, and it was high time to head out of Velitan, and into the birthing grounds.
how I long to leave this place and fly away on eagle's wings but I know the impossibility of these dreams these insurmountable things for I more than long for you here with me, my dream and my fantasy

Nares filled with many scents. The trees.. flowers. it was spring of course. But no, this was another scent. his fae was somewhere ..seemingly lost in the terra. with quicked strides did he rush to her aid and a high whinny peirced the callm breezy air of summer coming. streamer flying he headed in her direction to find his love, rooted to a spot near shade. a sigh of releive sped over him and nearing her the stag looked at her contorted face. he could see her fear and anguish. with a nudge of lovingness the stallion swept his locks o'er her crest and nuzzled her small cranium.
m'love, all will be fine, i assure you. though the foal is due soon i will do what i can as a sire to help.
his words were cooly inviting as he spoke with almost closed velvets. soothing her he though they would do.. but her nervousness was also spreading towards tge stag himself. would thier heir be born correctly..or healthy? it was up to time to make he decision. for now they would wait a while longer..until the final moment came. until then the stag wished they could settle down in the land and have careless worries. a shady spot sounded nice about now, with no ohters to bother them. a small smile crept over Bien's maw as he gazed at his love. she would be fine..but his heart told him there was something to worry about.
forgetting this thought he pushed it to the back of his mind.. he did not want to think about anything else besides Fade and the foal. it would be blessing to have his first heir.. or would it?

you've come to me
he was here. back at her side. thank the gods above! she was just stirring from her afternoon siesta when he had appeared. seemingly out of thin air, startling the ess who's orbs were clouded with the spell of sleep. quite whispers comforted her soon enough, and she returned to peace once more. what would she do without bien? but now, soon the tenderness would go away, the loving looks would dissapear. after his heir was amongst the living, he wouldn't need to wait on her hoof and hoof. she sighed, wishing things could be different sometimes...but schemes would need to go into effect. and soon.
now I must flee goodbye and much love it won't be long I pray before I return, this time with a prize
fade got to her piston's wearily, struggling against the demanding force of gravity. she nudged bein's withers impatiently, the labor already starting. with a twinge of fear in her usually fierce optics, the minx nodded to her lord one last time. appex held high in the form of anxious waiting...she must leave immediatly. but to leave the father of her first born behind was...well, scary! the maiden wasn't afraid to admit the prospect of birthing alone frightened her. braving the demons in her mind, she turned, opening her mug to voice one last time to Bien.
well well. the time has come. I shall be off now, my pace into the birthing lands. her tones softened a bit, remembering he must fear as well. and with my return brings back your heir, be glad. the ess smirked once, then was off. her stride was slowed by her emmense stomach, lines forming around her torso. dentals clicked worriedly as she moved. would her foal come out well? what sexing would the little demon be? would bien be proud of the outcome? and finally, could she handle the little tyke...
and now I must leave
[ooc: I'll be back soon!!! sorry for suckiness...it's late *yawns*]

ooc-gotcha
as vixen struggled to her limbs so frail with the burden of a foal, she immediatly took off before his frosty orbs. watching her trot away made a weak smile form upon his maw but it disappeared when she did not mention the idea of him 'helping'. though he must give her credit, for he respected her influence on doing this on her own. with a happy, nervous kind of sigh Bien trotted himself to a lake side and gazed across the sleek wet surface, his cranium reflected before his hooves. powerful hinds then turned and swept away with a rounded canter, barely skimming grass roots. his chestnut hide seemed to also reflect as it shined strangly in the suns light that emerged from the heavens. he found himself content. 'why am i so worried?' he asked himself as he strode along slowly, enjoying the breezes and fumes of summer. 'fade will be fine..she can handle it..' the words echoed against his brains blank walls. would she be alright? as for on her own, the stag knew she could take care of herself..but with a foal at her side? the question haunted Bien for a few breif moments, but disappeared. shocks braked at a forest edge, keen orbs scanning its border. he decided not to go into the dark, thick wood, in fright of Fade not being able to find him. but there was something strange about that wood..for some reason he wanted to explore its heart. shrugging he took one last crooked glance at it and was off again with a slow canter.
Bien had never exactly looked at his land,..and now that it was summer, everything was easier to see without daunting rainclouds and thick fog. he liked summer, though here it got slightly to hot for his liking. nevertheless, he did have his own place, and he figured he should be happy with that. sighing the stag emerged over a large valley, one he'd never seen before. maybe the land was bigger than he had thought..
was Fade expecting him in the same place? if she was, bien didn't know how to get there. until now he had not realized he had traveled so far. but the equines sence of being was strong.. she would find him. he mustnt worry himself.. the nervousness was overwhelming now. setting off at a trot the brute carried himself into the valleys base..looking around he decided it best to stay in one place. strutting to a tree Bien fianlly lied down. long it had been since he found the feeling of pleasure among nature. maybe Fade having the foal had changed him.. whatever it was, he didn't know. in fact he really didn't care. all he wanted to do was ly there, awaiting their foal.

our bouncing baby boy
quiet hoofalls drummed across the grounds of Velitan. never before had she been so anxious to re-enter her homelands. barrel was light with the emptied load of their foal. and what a beautiful lad he was! she had yet to think of a proper title for him...surely one would come to her. pistons churned the terra firma below, not going to fast nor too slow for the little tyke at her side. his little appendages were as skinny as two fallen oak twigs and seemed as frail as the mourning dove's tender wings. fade made a good mother. the actual birth had been long and tedious, a suprise to the first time dam. never before had such excruciating pain been inflicted upon the ess, her frame was exhausted with the strained efforts of labor. at least, she thought, she could show off her pride and joy to it's father. what will wake think of his son? nothing but compassion did she feel for the heir to the throne. one day he woud grow to be as cunning as his father, the lead of the domain. but now she must concentrate on the present...for the colt was growing hungry in his youth.
hold out my little one. soon your father's face shall you see. then, once the meetings have subsided, you may recieve your mother's nourishment.[/b] as he tried to keep the pace with his mother, the little colt kept his chin parellel to the loam. already he felt the tremendous weight of the world, and his future part in it. though he didn't understand that he was the heir to a filled throne, the flicko knew of his important heritage. who was this daddy that mother kept mentioning? already he felt intimidated by the thought of another of his gender, three times his size! along the way from the birthing grounds, he questioned the existance of everything. from the passing of a bluebird, to the swaying grasses growing near the trickling stream, he wanted to know it all. the fawn was intelligient for one his age and size. wisdom nonexistant in one his days. petite peds seemed to lift and fall over and over, never stopping for a feeding break. a few times he yawned, trying to cover it up with a fake fit of sneezing, he couldn't seem unfit in front of his mother for crying out loud! poor tyke. trying not to show how tired he actually was. sweet babe. fade stopped for a moment to lick his cheek in sympathy. poor dearest. 'twill soon be over. they started off again, this time fade followed a dirt trail, the tracks seemingly fresh. soon enough, they came along a valley and nearby, a tree. underneath that tree, lay her ever-faithful mate, bien. stay here. she vocaled to her son. nonchalantly, trying to cover her excitement, she tottered over to his motionless frame. lowering her dome slowly, fade nudged his chin. wake. our spawn has arrived at last. the bruja nodded to the colt, urging him closer. 'twas time to meet his father at last.
isn't as he appears

Being awoken by the beautiful vix startled him slightly, why had he dozed off? a moment ago his tentions were all worked up and nervous. the waking came as a huge surprise, as he was expecting to find Fade galloping towards him with the child at her side. but this..this was much different. a sudden feeling of nerves came through his waking veins as heavily did the stag stand once again. shaking his barrel grasses flew in every direction..and there he was. the small little horse cautiosuly walking to it's mother. Bien's heart skipped many beats as he looked goggle-eyed upon the infant. his true bred colt. the little deamon was beautiful, ruffled hairs going every-which way from birth, audatives perked in curiosity and unknown. Bien looked almost as nervous and surprised as the child! tyring to hide his goggle-eyed expression the stag quietly stood behind Fade, one would think he was afraid of the new being. though bien had never actually cared and had a foal of his own. his heir. jostling pistons took a step in front of the mare, nostriles outstreched to reach the foal's scent. his mass came closer to the small babe, though careful enough not to scare him with his emense size.
with a glance back at Fade, whom had a smile of utter glee, the stag proceeded to his son. the foal was bay, his short black mane stuck up like a mohawk, quivering, as he stepped cautiously nearer. his sleek dark brown coat reminded him of Fade, yet his sloping withers and poweful hindquarters was like Bien. a small smile finally darted up Bien's face and his tail swished with happiness. tiny pistons of the baby hesitated before coming very close to Bien's, and he stopped. Bein didn't know what to say..all he could do was stare amazed at the tiny infant. pleased with the foal he was, he couldn't think of a better looking colt. proud was his grin, his face slightly bent to reach the foal's level..
Hello.. son.

though you had me at first release the bondages bound so tight screaming over and over again of a love so simply light
mocha lanterns found their way into that of bien's. a mother's pride held deep within their depths. ebon whipcord coursing along the maximum of her length, destroying any evidence of remaining pests. shanks carried fade diligently over to her mate Bien, nudging his withers in mock anger. how dare you sleep when our young is so close at hand! of course, no harm was intended. merely a sharp reprimand for his laborings. after all, her little fawn wouldn't be in existance without that of the russet brujo next to herself. quick lick was appealed 'neath darkened streamer. a show of her what. affection. love? such a strong word, love. perhaps she felt something else. compassion towards one like herself? maybe. compassion. there there my dear youth. it is you. you're the reason for my many thoughts. I would kill for you. dispose of any who stand in my path. aye, even your own lineage if only to protect you for a moment. in return I ask of only one thing: a promise. my son, end up better in life then your dear old mum. live life. be free with only yourself. trust none other. blessing in the form of a peck placed 'pon his whispy cheek, embarresment overshadowed by young, greedy hunger. slightly taken aback at his lack of mannerism's, fade had fallen out of her dream-like state to give the babe a firm smack on the rump. punishment. behave now will you?
a chain will suffice to wrap around all those lies send them out to sea drop 'em down in the green let them sink let them drown fool me no longer
call it out now Bien. what will his title be? decide now. no? then leave it up to the dam. hmm. a name to reckon with. these things take time, and wisdom of the youth's strengths and whatnot. Beltran. perfect was it not? His naming, Bien, is Beltran. as the bright fluttering of the raven's wings in the deep moonlight. ah Beltran, the darkened soul. spanish in it's meaning, fit for a king. the youth seemed to stand a bit taller at the mention of his new-found title. whisker bit at the edges of his flanks, a teasing to his father. such formalities and persecutions of the dark equine were unknown to Beltran. the time to be taught was upon the colt. enough. tramping around the loam like a silly light is not acceptable son. learn your manners. tired nip was placed on his shoulders, sick of all the nonsense.
