Dubbed as: Ebony
Gender: Mare
Age: 3 1/2 years
Color: Purest Black
Mane/tail?: Platinum gold/blonde
Eyes: Chocolate brown
Attitude: A fiesty young mare, gentle to those she trusts though otherwise she's a fine filly to match. At times she can be sarcasticly rude, though mostly she'd rather just stand and watch the surroundings pass her by, or run with her surroundings and pass everyone else who stands and watches by. She's a free spirited mare, vivacious and wild and as elusive as the shadows she portrays.
Looks: Ebony is a long limbed female, built for speed and plenty of it. She's a terrible typhoon to catch when running her heart out against the wind, with her tail flapping and her mane waving like banners behind. Her fetlocks are lightly furred, giving her hooves of black a soft feathered look with that same blonde coloration lining the ends of each long strand of hair. At a full gallop if the sun hits her right, she appears to be what ghost riders tell tales of, and what nightmares exhibit; for it appears as though her mane, tail and hooves have caught aflame when she runs. A long slender neck is a natural feminine arch, with gently smoothed facial features. All in all, she's a beauty to see, even though she doesn't see herself that way.
History: Ebony was born far from here, raised as a foal on a farm to help with the other horses and yardwork there was to be done. She was content for a while, working alongside her mother and the other fillies and colts, learning the ropes of how to be ridden and such, but each day as she aged she felt as if something was missing deep down within the bowels of her very soul. Upon turning three years old, a man came to take her away to be sold at auction to the highest bidder. Confused and frightened, the younger shadow spooked at the gentle snap of a whip the gentleman had made and her front hooves reared into the air. Ebony screeched something aweful, before striking the man down upon the dirt paven road and galloping off into the far away hills. The lead rope dragged on the ground and snagged a couple times on her way out, but eventually the filly managed to slip the halter completely off and a new wave of sensations met her now exposed skin. She was free, for the first time in her life, she was free, and she engulfed every single moment of it, speeding off into the sunset as if racing against time to stay this way forever more. Rumors floated on sparrows wings of a place where horses like her roamed freely without care and without fear, so she followed said suggestive caws until finally a half a year later, she reached the plains of the Blessed lands she had heard so much about....Here, she hoped, she would stay until her dieing days...
Example Post:
Dawn gently rose upon the horizon and stretched the rays of gold and crimson across the plains. Light splotches of brush quivered with movement as fowl left their nests and soared into the beaming blue above. Slowly the creeping lights reached a bush that had concealed for the most part the slender limbed femme, new to this particular terra. A huff of annoyance breathed from pitch nostrils, the sun's light gently taunting the young mare to wake. Reluctant as she was, after a time Ebony could not stand the sun's beaming glares within her eyes and slowly the young fae stood upon her limbs. Her jaws opened wide and ivory teeth shone in the bright sunlight, the yawns passing easily between her jaws. Sinuey muscles twitched and her neck was quickly rattled, sending that blonde flame of mane careening in all directions, ridding itself of bramble and brush it might have collected during the night's tossing. Eyes slowly adjusted to the light, and her mane softly fell upon her silky neck once more, clean and gleaming. What a new world this was to discover, so vast and so beautiful in all it's glory at this wee hour of the morning. Birds sang over head, songs of joy and awakening, calling out to the world their praise of the world's being. A nicker escaped Ebony's nostrils, her hooves stamped softly upon the soft ground beneath her. With anticipation on the rise and curiousity flamed and continuing to be fanned, the young fae was eager enough to check her new surroundings for any other signs of life....
((If I need to add more, I certainly will, I was just focusing on basics really...))
