They approached the line together, the group neared a land of another, they dared not enter, for they had learned of the consequences But one stallion strayed as they began to move away again, towards open land, where any equine could try to survive As they trotted away, they left behind the member of the group that had been there the longest His auds pricked in the direction of the land He didn't know why but something about the land perked hi intrested, inticed him to go and see what it was like Stretching out his pillars his irons padded softly on the grassy geo Though he was in a forest the sun shone through in places They shot through the trees in beams, lighting up his gleaming coat, and leaving imediatly as he cantered through the forest, dodging trees, roots, and bushes with ease His dial high, he felt the sunlight filtering through the trees begin to warm his pelt A small neigh flew out his maw at the feeling of warmness again, the past few years had been cold ones Not meaning the weather, for the summers had been brutal, no rainstorms, but many dust storms The winters warmer than usual, no snow to cool them down after the hot summers This was a different feeling, one not of phsycal warmness, but internal warmness, warming his soul, his heart Slowing to a trot do to the physical heat he came upon a cliff, high above the land The view streched out, as far as he coudl see This reminded him of a place where he had visted once, where his dam had actually been calm and forgiving He remembered snuggling up to her, she snuggling him back He began to think about a herd of his own Maybe possible in this land, he could find a loving mare to call his love, and have many little foals to look after Smiling at the thought he began to descend down the cliff's face, heading into Equusoul
