Blood-bay arabian frame carried the ess over the loam in silent hoof-falls. Her crest was held high, pride evident in every feature she possessed. Approaching an open, cleared space, she searched for her opponent that was acting as her rival for the coming battle.
A strong zephyr picked up, swirling leaves and debris around the mare's delicate pillars. Fade scented the air, nostrils flaring in concentration. She was again waiting, watching for the fool light she was to take down.
Goky, if you be here not by tomorrow, I will automatically win this battle. Stop hiding from your destiny, come fufill our prophecy!
The demoness awaited a response, if any, that would come in time. Would the blessed one come or run scared?

Her hoofbeats fell upon the grounds that would soon be filled with the blood of a light, or a dark. She turned her face upon her opponent.
"I have arrived, and I am ready".
Never being one to instigate a fight, she put herself in a ready stance, and glared at Fade, awaiting pain, and readying herself for what would undoubtedly be the end of a life, and a definate changing point in her life. Her occuli were deeply intent, and locked unswaying on her opponent. She did not hate the darks, that was the way they were- the way they were meant to be, but she did know her place, and she knew that this was the way things were.
