The copper stag raced into the wonderful land, sliding to a stop easily Dial raised as an urgent whicker rang, calling for the Royals, rather waiting for them to come Fidgiting as he waited he was worried The Royals didn't call a meeting for no reason, right? He thought uneasily, tossing tassles around on his nape What if something was urgently wrong? Maybe the darks were launching an attack? Oh no, if that was true, what would happen to Illusen? And the foal? And what of Twilight, the new mystery of his heart? He pondered many things as he waited, anxiously wondering

Sun-kissed essa walked to the middle of the royal grounds where a large boulder was stationed. Passively, she stood alongside it, awaiting the arrival of her fellow lights. The moon rose above the horizon and it reminded the mare of her loving mate, Silver whom she would catch a star for and carry it to earth. Dreamweaver knew that her side would have their work cut out for them, and she needed to know how many souls were still with them. Their numbers had been dwindling ever since the new Royals had been named. This thought troubled the Queen.
Her napes breathed in the sweet, heavenly aromas of grass and earth, changing with the zephyrs that blew around. Flints were planted to the terra firma, bracing her for the stampede of equines she anticipated. Would they come? Time was passing slowly... Then the mare noticed the lead stag of the plains, Camelot. His reddened coat stood out from the monotonous greenery like a star in the midnight sky above. She nickered warmly, inviting him to stand beside her if he wished. Her orbs sparkled at the chance for seeing her friends; old, new and soon-to-be comrades if war was the case. As dawn approached she watched the sun filling the heavens with it's bloodred hues.

Standing next to his beloved, Moonlight smiled slightly. Everything about Dream was just that - like a dream. Her voice was angelic and her orbs held a story of the past. Dream's creme bodice shone like the sun rising in the sapphire sky. The point that thrilled Moon the most was the she was his. He loved her more than anything in the world and she actually loved him back. It was easier to climb to the highest peak on the earth than to find your soul mate, one who loves you for you and you love them just the same. But amazingly, magically, they had found one another - quite by accident. Reaching his maw out to her, Silver Moonlight rubbed it against her cheek that was as soft as cotton. Standing next to her so their barrels were touching, he tried to return his attention back to the leads of the herds. He suddenly saw one approaching. This stallion was one he did not know. Smiling, he looked at the stag with curiousity.
[glow=dodgerblue,2,300]G'Day fellow stallion. I am Silver Moonlight. Or just Moonlight if you please. I see you already know Dream. What be your dubbance, for I have yet to meet you.[/glow]
As he spoke a slight zephyr picked up and he cherished the warm breeze. His ivory mane swayed and his forelock fell before his dark orbs. Tossing it away, he waited to hear from the stallion that had joined them.

Galloping into the fair lands came Shadowfax, the new Royal Messanger of the blessed lord and lady. Snorting as he came to an abrupt halt he bowed his crainia quikly to the king and queen, slightly out of breath. Nares flaring with every exhale he swished his streamer lightly about his pillars as he awaited the lord and lady to finish their talk with Camelot.
The herds are informed..soon they shall be arriving. He announced to the royal ones, tassles covering his dark orbs as a light breeze rushed about the equine.

Twilight was stricken at the Blessed Lady's beauty. She never saw beauty like that. Oh yes, she saw equine's who were tall, slender, gorgeous, but this, this beauty shone like an aura around her, just so gracious so glorious. And then, Twilight thought she could feel the ice that was so frozen around her hear melt into a puddle of something she'd never felt before. And it was as though a blind fold had been pulled from her eyes. She was now a different equine, it was so odd, so fast, just so different. But soon she understood, she didn't belong where she used to, she belonged here, where she was welcomed so kindly, where grace and peace and serenity sprouted from the very ground beneath her hooves, this was her paradise that she'd been forever seeking, not the dark dank place where she used to be. She trotted up next to Camelot and whispered softly in his aud. Camelot, I-I have t-to tell you something, she stuttered with great difficulty. Even her voice was different, so fresh and light, she never knew it could sound like that.

Illusen trotted in shortly after Twilight. She was still getting over the anger she had against her. It was so odd. Illusen never got very mad, at least not like this. The anger was so strong, it almost overwhelmed her, shattered her sense of peace and kindness. Now that she had it at bay, she followed both Camelot and Twilight into the terra. Her chocolate brown orbs then spotted them, huddled together, Twilight whispering softly into Camelot's ear. And then the rage came. It built up inside of her like a thermometer, when the temperature is so hot, the small vial is about to just pop right off of the plastic measure thingy. Except on a much much much larger scale. Illusen exploded. Simply exploded. Her heart just blasted off into space, and she had a feeling it wouldn't ever come back. Greatly angered, she let out a whinny of pure malice, her eyes narrowed with the evil unleashed within her, and she galloped away, terribly furious, eager to leave everything like this behind. Someone would see her side, oh yes, and Camelot and that twit Twilight would pay... pay dearly....

I three-beated to the Royal Lands as quick as my aging legs could carry me. I arrived in a small group of 'quines, all surrounding two marvelous beings. Were these the new royals? What had happened to Psyche? -I needed to get out more often- I thought to myself. One mare had run right past me, angry of something. I came into the circle, ready to hear what news the royals had- and obviously for the lights only to hear, for there was not a harsh word being exchanged, nor darkened glances being cast. Were we to attack the darks? The peace between us would be hard to purposely break. Maybe they were attacking us. Definately something to ponder about.

ooc: sorry I'm kinda ignoring everything going on around me...I just wrote this out before posting so...yeah.
Mocha occulis turned and landed on each and every 'quine in the grove. Their coats shone with the glow of the moon, each color of the rainbow present. The bruja smiled, the corners of her maw lifting slightly. Suddenly a nighthawk flew above them, it's wings spread to absorb every tiny gale coming it's way. Dreamweaver frowned, remembering why they had issued this meeting in the first place.
Her orbs again searched around the clearing, and this time, the scene wasn't so magickal. Every tree casting it's shadow across the loam made her shiver inwardly. The Queen knew the dark side was gaining power as another stallion staked his claim upon Velitan. But there was however, a loophole. Dream also found out that her cursed counterpart had fled, leaving the throne open for taking. Here is where her plan had it's beginning, and it's flaws.
Sighing, she moved towards her King Moonlight. Her gaze shown with compassion and love, but also newfound worry. The Lady didn't fear her own safety, but the well-being of her chosen side. With a quick wuff to Silver, she began to address the gathering.
"Welcome my beloved children of light. I have brought us together on this glorious night to warn you..."
She struck a hoof on the terra firma to emphasis her point. "The darks are growing more numerous in numbers every day. The Cursed Lady, Traversura is gone, but they are, I'm sure, looking for a replacement." A shudder coursed through Dream's bodice, disgust clearly illustrated on her facade.
"Here now is my warning: Be ready. To fight, to win, and possibly, to die. Be careful every step of the way, never turn your back and hold tight to those you love and those who love you in return." Her voice shook as she thought about losing Moon, "but for tonight, please enjoy your Royal's hospitality by staying in these lands. The morning will bring more news with it's arrival."
Dreamweaver bowed slightly and walked away slowly, her hoof-falls contributing an eeirie beat to the rythm of the night. She waited at the treeline for her King, needing to talk to him privatley. If any of her fellow equines needed to confront her they could do it now as well (hinthint). Quietly she eyed the moon, andn thought about the coming of the storm...

Irons moved quickly towards the Queen The brujo had noticed the worried shine in her orbs, the fear in her voice, he felt the same Dial tossed upward, sending tassles flying and landing over his optics Walking with the Lady he spoke clearly before he lost his nerve M'Lady Dreamweaver, I know what is the feeling the wonder about losing a loved one I know the pain that comes with losing one He tossed back his forelock, revealing worry streaked eyes, clouded with concern I wish you do not meet the same fate Sighing he slowed, letting her walk away as he faded back towards his home

Glancing at the love of his life, worry filled his orbs. Silver knew that she could defend herself, but he would never leave her side, ready to defend her to death if need be. It amazed him that he could love another this much, and actually be loved back the same. Rubbing his maw against her cream cheek, he tried to calm himself down a bit.
Letting her take command, he listened to her words as diligently as the others. Dream's words flowed like a song, although he noticed a quaver in her words. No, he could never live without her and he would never let anything happen to her. He would not lose her - he could not lose her.
Stepping away from the group when she was finished, he stood close beside her. The moonlight lit up the night, creating a calming atmosphere. Sighing gently, he gazed at the ground momentarily. Looking back up at Dreamweaver, he smiled slighly, his mind wandering off about the future.

Inspiration ran down my vertibrae as the new Queen gave her motivational little speech. I approached the Queen with a fair bow.
"M'lady, I am Goky le Fae, and I have lived here for four years. Presently, the lord of Aquare is gone. I do not believe he will come back. That being said, by law, I believe, the land is up for grabs again. But if I may have your permission, I ask to continue to preside in the lands and finish out my days. With the conditions I am in, my days are growing shorter, so I ask this simple wish. May I have your blessing?"
I held a breath inside my lungs as silence deafened my audits. I found myself, however concentrated on the problem at hand, drifting off towards memories of Drifter- and our days together with Serendipity, numbered as those few days were. Clenching my mandible, I barely managed to hold back tears and told myself to focus again on what the Queen was to say.

Twilight's dial quickly turned to see Illusen bolt off with anger. It was then that she knew what she'd done so wrong. But she couldn't let it lie here, or she would live in guilt forever. And guilt was something she'd never felt in her whole life. Naders took in the scent of every equine present, making her shudder. She didn't know if she had the courage to do this. Did she? Twilight took a deep breath, calming her jumping nerves. Now, she would have to tell the truth. Um... everyone? she called to get the equines' attention. Another deep breath, and she began. I'm really not a light, I mean, now I am, but I wasn't but... no wait. Twilight paused, getting a hold of herself. When I first came to the Blessed side, I did not come to join. I-I came to- She regained her composure. -spy. B-but I'm good now! Seeing all of this, witnessing what its like to be kind has changed me. And, I'm sorry for deceiving you, Lord, Lady, Camelot, everyone! I-I know that I've done a lot of wrong things before now, but I can change I can, I-I just proved that to myself. Chocolate sent me to spy on you for him, but I won't go, I'll stay here, and he may be mad, but he can deal with that on his own, and we'll have the advantage on our side, and-and- She was out of breath. After swallowing and taking another deep breath, she whispered, sounding like the wind itself. -and I want them to feel like I do right now. That was where she stopped, letting this information sink in. Would they accept her?

Camelot spun around, copper tasssles moving in front of his orbs Tossing his dial expertly the tressles moved He advanced on Twilight, despair in his eyes Why Twilight? Why did you not want to come? How can we be sure you've changed? Darks can be decieving His lower lip quivered He had really opened his home, and heart to a dark? No, he couldn't think of it! Turning on his heel he left, racing towards his lands

Creme-kissed mare shook her banner as her love came to stand beside her. Her back was turned from the gathered herd but she heard every word spoken, floating to her awaiting towers and settling in with recognition. Camelot came to stand beside her and as he said what he came to say, Dream nodded solemnly.
Thank you Lord Camelot...and to you as well.
Her voice quavered in the slightest, orbs shining with fresh, unspilled tears. Then she heard another 'quine approach from behind. Turning she saw it was one of Psyche's old followers, an elder mare name Goky. As she spoke of her aging and yearning to hold on to her home terrain until she flew to the land of forever, the Queen whispered softly,
Goky, you hereby have my gratitude for being so bold as to rule the lands of Aquare by yourself. You have my blessing and admiration dearest one.
Dreamweaver once more took on her Royal air and walked around the mare, needing to speak once more to the assembled. Lyrics were formed on her tongue when the shocking confession of the ebon fea came. Befuddled on why she hadn't spoken sooner about her previous engagements, the Lady smiled inwardly. Another had come to their side. Dream waited for her conclusion, paused, and then decided on her future.
Lady Twilight, I'm glad you have openly discussed your...actions, and that you realize how the Blessed truly are. However, I wish you would have told your friend Illusen before she was hurt so...profoundly.
The Queen nodded and stood straight, tall and proud. The dawn was approaching and the war was about to begin.
And now, those who wish to fight our cause, assemble now if you will.
And from behind the treeline came the sun, with it showed clouds stacked miles high into the sky above. A slow, steady rumble came to pass,
The Storm had arrived.

Flidais had been standing in the back of the gathering, staying right next to her little one. Glancing around worriedly, she did not see Shadow anywhere. Thinking about the supposed oncoming war, her stomach tightened. Scooting even closer to Sage, she listened to every word the Queen spoke. Although her words were naturally calming, they did nothing to calm Flidais. Lowering her maw to Sage's ear, she whispered quietly, "Follow me." Walking around the group, she slowly approached the Lady and Lord. Lowering her head in a short bow of respect, she glanced over at Sage who was standing close to her. Looking back up at the Lady, a glint of worry filled her orbs. "M'lady, I am all too worried about this "war". What will it mean if the Darks win? What will it mean if we win? What is the purpose of this war to begin with, for the question has bothered me for quite some time. I see no point in losing loved ones when it is perfectly fine the way we are. I am sorry, M'lord and Lady, but I ask to not take part in this excuse for murder of the other side. I could not bare to lose my little one or his father. It would destroy me if I lost them and I could not bear it for a reason such as this. I apologize." Gazing at them with worry, she quickly glanced around once more, still not spotting her beloved.
Following Mom, I walked over who we call the "Lord" and "Lady". Staying close to Mother, I swished my blackening tail back and forth. Glancing up, I noticed something wrong with Mom, something different. Rubbing my crown against her side, I tried to make her feel better. Staring up at her with worry, I remebered that Dad wasn't here. Was that what was wrong? Having no idea what to do, I stared up at the King and Queen, not sure of anything anymore.
